I have been teaching for the past 13 years in multiple subjects and a variety of grade levels but this year I am going to get to experience it through a whole new lens. I will now be an Instructional Coach to all of our amazing Science teachers here at OKMS. We will work together to create the most engaging, multi-sensory, and purposeful lessons for your students to enjoy on a daily basis. I love exploring and discovering through Science with the kids and am excited to get to do this in multiple classrooms this year through collaboration with our skilled teachers here at OKMS.

I have a lot of experience with Classroom Management strategies that help to allow all students to be engaged in the lessons. Also, I am well versed in discovering, researching and implementing best practices in the classroom. I recently was chosen to be a Butterfield Fellow for Classroom management success, a clinical instructor for Project Inspire, and a Leadership Fellow through the PEF program. All these experiences are going to help me to guide and plan with our teachers to foster the best learning environment for your child. I have lived here for the last six years with my husband, two little boys and our two dogs. We moved from North Carolina and have been enjoying getting to know the Chattanooga area and all it has to offer.
